Splab: Mik is a SSA level 2 surfing instructor. He has surfed since age seven growing up on the Strand beach. He has coached the Boland Grommets and Junior teams as well as being the assistant coach to the South African team who surfed against England and Namibia in 2006. He has been surfing contests since age 14 and is twice the South African Students Champion. He is happily married to his wife Inge.

Splab: Andy is a SSA level 1 surfing instructor. He grew up surfing the powerful waves of East London. He has been around the breakthroughs of surfboard and wetsuit evolution, starting his surfing on a single fin then a twin to quad and now thruster. Having travelled to Hawaii, Mauritius, Australia, France and Spain, Andy has a wealth of surfing experience and expertise. He has coached the Boland Grommet Team since 2003. Andy has always surfed for leisure and as a form of ministry which God has placed in his lap.
