The Son-Surf School Strand was started in August 2003 by Andy Pitt and Mikhail Thompson. They carried the same vision of starting a surf school and positively impacting the world around them. They were also both part of the Son Surf tribe.
This naturally resulted in the birth of the first ever Son Surf School. After a couple of years a Son Surf School was also opened in Melkbos by Bert van Niekerk.
The aim is to have many more Son Surf Schools around the country but the right person has to come along to run one. A person with the same vision and values as us, whos is in it for the long haul.
